WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
What you wear to your photoshoot matters!
Your outfit, along with your location and the time of day, plays a huge role in bringing your vision to life and can drastically affect how your photos turn out.
Don’t worry! it’s not complicated at all. We can work together with what you already have in your closet, making sure everything feels comfortable, natural, and true to you.
The simpler your clothes, the better! Your clothes should complement you, not be louder than you.
Here are some tips to help you plan your wardrobe:
Colors and patterns :
Keep it simple. Choose 2–3 complementary colors that work well together.
Avoid bright or neon colors. Too many bold colors can make photos look busy and affect how your skin looks.
Be mindful with patterns. Too many patterns can clash. Use patterns as small accents, not the main focus. Lay everything out together and see how it feels before the shoot.
Warm, earthy tones work best. Think cream, tan, browns, muted greens, and black. These shades look soft and natural in any setting - at home, in the city, or outdoors.
Fabrics & Fit
Choose natural fabrics. Linen, cotton, knit, wool, silk - they add texture and look cozy on camera.
Avoid tight-fitting clothes. They can restrict movement and may emphasize things you don’t want highlighted.
Go for oversized, comfortable pieces. Comfort is key, but make sure it still feels authentic to your style.
Layers add depth. Jackets, vests, blazers, and outerwear make photos feel more dynamic and atmospheric.
Style & Comfort
Avoid festive clothes with sequins or rhinestones unless it’s part of the concept.
The goal is to feel natural, confident, and alive in your outfit.
Make sure you like and feel good in what you’re wearing. If you don’t, it may show in your photos.
MAKEUP & HAIRSTYLE
If you feel comfortable without makeup - that’s perfect. If you need it to feel like yourself, light makeup is totally fine. Professional hairstyling or makeup isn’t necessary. The focus is on movement, emotion, and authenticity, not perfect curls or flawless makeup.
A well-chosen outfit works wonders: it sets the mood, enhances the atmosphere, helps people open up… And it guarantees great shots right from the start!
